I'm delighted to open this blog for students at GU and near Washington, DC. We just completed our first class with 10 students graduating and are looking forward to offering more classes for the GU community in fall 2007.
This blog is a place where students can post stories, questions and pictures for each other and anyone who is interested in sharing our experiences. I will serve as moderator for now, and also post new course announcements, class reports, and other information that might be useful for budding students of nature and survival.
I hope this forum will serve as a meeting place for your information and curiosity, and help to keep us all connected as we continue to learn and explore in our own ways.

More recently, many of the specific teachings were passed to us either directly or indirectly from Tom Brown Jr., and to him from Grandfather Stalking Wolf. Many other teachers, including Jon Young, Frank Sherwood, Malcolm Ringwalt, Errett Callahan, Barry Keegan, Jack Cresson, Ricardo Sierra, and a host of others have also inspired this program.
